St. Patrick's Day Recovery: My Top 5 Hangover Cures

Today is the day when everyone goes "just one drink" and proceeds to exceed that limit. If you're only having one drink today, this post is probably not for you. But if you know you and you're asking yourself what can you do to recover ASAP you've come to the right place!

Here are my top 5 hangover cures including brief reasons why each made the list:

Sleep + Water + Sleep

The key to this trick is to wake up (pee if you need to), drink at least 1 glass of water and go back to sleep (30+ min). The second time you wake up, you'll feel more refreshed and ready to function!

Kimchi Stew or Soft Tofu Stew (either with a side of Rice)

If you don't know about either of these foods, it's time for a google search. These warm spicy stews will wake you right up. Why a side of rice? Because you always eat a side of rice... always!

Sweaty Yoga Class

If you have some way to make your space warmer, crank up the heat and head to your mat. TBH you can be in a child's pose for half the class. As long as you sweat and move a little you'll be ready for your day once savasana is done!

Pro-tip: If you want to practice with me through a pre-recorded flow check out Y7 Online or OMstars 🙌🏾

15 min (or more) Warm Shower

Standing in a warm shower slowly wakes you up like a blooming flower. Once you're in the shower, before you wash, just stand there and let the water hit you. If you trust the water resistance of your phone you can scroll through TikTok and keep up with the latest dance trends in the process #MultiTasking

Pizza for Breakfast

Last but not least! A classic way to recover from a night of beverages is pizza. Some people prefer cold pizza but I am not some people. I prefer to pop a couple slices in the microwave and make a cup of coffee while I wait. This method stands the tests of time for a reason... IT WORKS 🍕

There's 5 methods in your pocket! Happy St. Patrick's Day! Stay Safe! 🍀
