Treat Yourself: Skincare

Next in the "Treat Yourself" series comes... SKINCARE!!! As someone with combo sensitive skin that gets easily irritated by most fragrance and citric acid, I don't mind spending a bit more for effective skincare products. On that note, I'd say I have a pretty averaged priced routine, but every once and a while there's a product that catches my eye that's a bit more expensive. For me, if I think it'll be effective I don't mind spending a little more to try it out.

So today I'm sharing 3 of my favorite skincare products that are more of a "treat yourself" purchase 🙌🏾

Tatcha: The Rice Polish Foaming Enzyme Powder (Gentle), $65

TBH: When I first tried the regular version of this product, I didn't like it at all because it broke me out. However, when I saw that there was a gentle version I decided to give it another go and I LOVE IT! I enjoy the experience of opening the package, using the component, and massaging it on my face. It just feels luxurious haha I use about a pinky nail amount every time so it's safe to say a little goes a long way with this one!

Akar Skin: Balance Toner, $55

This item is not a lot of product (only 2.4 oz) but it works SO well. There is salicylic acid which exfoliates the pores and saffron which helps to repair the skin. My face loves that ingredient combo! I seriously wish they would make a bigger size 😅

Josie Maran: Skin Dope Argan Oil + 100 mg CBD, $78

This product only has 2 ingredients, argan oil & CBD. My skin appreciates the simplicity and calming effects of this product. It's perfect to add into my skincare routine whenever my skin wants some extra hydration on my face and body. Especially, now as the seasons change. A little goes a long way so it's definitely worth the price for me since it LASTS!

If you're looking for a skincare treat you now have 3 products to treat yourself with!
